The Engine Alliance (EA) is a 50/50 joint venture between Pratt & Whitney (PW) and GE Aerospace (GE) established to develop, produce, and support the GP7000 engine which powers the Airbus A380 aircraft.  In 2026, the Engine Alliance is celebrating its 30th anniversary.

The GP7000 engine entered service in 2008 supporting Emirates, Etihad, Qatar and Korean Air.

What You Will Do:

  • In support of EA business objectives, the Engine Alliance Aftermarket Services, Associate Director is accountable for the following 3 critical value streams for the EA business: 1) management of the lease asset pool, 2) development and execution of EA’s teardown strategy and, 3) lead EA’s used serviceable material strategy and execution.

  • Position requires approximately 15% travel (domestic and international, typically with advanced notice).

Lease asset pool value stream:

  • Responsible for acquisition of lease engines including seeking internal approval for capex, negotiations with seller on price and terms of purchase agreement, overseeing acquisition process including records review and logistics of engine shipments.

  • Manage lease pool asset deployment through MLS (vendor).

  • Drive development of short-term and long-term strategy of lease assets green time module utilization to achieve EA business objectives.

Tear down value stream:

  • Develop and implement EA teardown strategy including identification, selection and negotiation of purchase agreements with specialized suppliers.

  • Develop and maintain process to determine which engines are best candidates for teardown balancing financial and fleet stability metrics.

  • Manage and administer contracts with teardown suppliers

Used serviceable material (USM)

  • Optimize EA USM strategy to maintain fleet stability and minimize EA overhaul costs.

  • Manage contract with GEAM, vendor that is responsible for administration of USM.

Invoicing

  • Provide leadership oversight for EA invoicing process working with process lead and value stream stakeholder to process to achieve best-in-class KPI’s with best usage of resources.

Other Responsibilities Include:

  • Ownership of other EA contracts, for example GE Store Front.

  • Represent Engine Alliance in communication with our airline customers as EA lease pool manager.

  • Support senior level presentation materials for senior level meetings, such as PW Program reviews and EA Board meetings

  • Collaborate with EA financial team on matters related to the lease pool and teardown activities.

  • Participate in the development of operations forecast.

  • Active member of the GP7000 IPMT.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelors Degree and 12 years of experience or Advanced Degree and 10 years of experience to include the following:

  • Leadership, decision-making, and influential position requiring and teamwork skills interacting with all levels of management.

  • Experience and a deep understanding of the following areas airlines operations, MRO operations, project management, supplier management,
