Job Description

AECOM Hunt is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent for upcoming work in the Dallas, TX and Southern US Region projects. 

• Provide overall on-site administrative and technical management for a wide range of construction projects. 
• Responsible for the organization and direction of construction and related activities within assigned area of responsibility, which may be a single area, multi-area or a multi-discipline construction project. 
• May be the primary client contact for all jobsite day to day activities or may coordinate with client’s resident representatives on jobsite activities within assigned area of operations. 
• Responsibilities are to ensure assigned jobsite operations are in compliance with design/specifications, completion on schedule, within budget and to quality standards. Interfaces with all other administrative field staff, field management staff and particularly the Project Manager in a coordinated effort.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirement:

• BA/BS Engineering/Construction Management or similar curriculum and 8 years of construction Superintendent experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Requirements: 

• Demonstrated experience in construction in industries such as: 
  • stadium/sports complex
  • hospitality
  • life-sciences/healthcare
  • airport
  • higher education
• Commercial construction experience in public and private sector.
• Experience in CMAR/GMP delivery.
• Experience from a large general contractor is strongly preferred.
• Large project experience > $150M.
• Ability to travel as necessary.

Additional Information

• This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future. 
• This position does not offer relocation assistance.  Travel assignments will come with a Temporary Living Allowance determined by location.
• Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
• 90% travel within the United States is required.
• Valid Driver’s License to operate an AECOM provided motor vehicle on construction project site(s) to support project tasks assignments and scope of work. For positions with driving responsibilities, Motor Vehicle Records are reviewed as part of AECOM’s background check process to ensure compliance with the Company’s driving standards.
