Join Our Team as a Principal Software Engineer – Elevate the Developer Experience for Azure PostgreSQL 

We are the rapidly growing Azure PostgreSQL Database Services team at Microsoft, and we are seeking a talented Principal Engineer to lead our efforts in enhancing the application development experience on our managed PostgreSQL database service. In this role, you will drive the strategy and execution of building best-in-class development experiences while championing developer advocacy and community-building initiatives. Your work will integrate our service with the tools and platforms that developers rely on daily and lead efforts to build and nurture a vibrant developer community.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy and execution of building developer experiences, integrating our managed PostgreSQL DBaaS with popular developer tools and platforms for seamless integration, optimized workflows, and enhanced productivity. 

• Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and customer success teams to understand customer needs and market trends, translating them into actionable integration requirements.
