Position Summary
The primary responsibility of the Pharmacy Fulfillment Supervisor is to supervise and provide direction to the professional and non-professional staff to ensure that prescription orders are filled and shipped in an accurate and efficient manner to achieve exceptional customer service to exceed company and customer expectations.  The Pharmacy Fulfillment Supervisor is also responsible for directing daily workflow, interviewing/hiring, evaluating & reviewing performance, coaching & counseling, and daily supervision of the staff to ensure that all department and company policies and procedures are followed.     

Target salary for this role is $65,000

Ensure the department meets all production and quality goals.

  • Monitor workflow and production measures throughout the day for timely and accurate dispensing of patient orders and work with the manager to resolve issues and problems according to set guidelines.

  • Actively participate in the company’s Quality Improvement Program by monitoring each employee for accuracy, productivity, and customer service through collecting key performance indicator data, evaluating results and making recommendations for improvement to the quality team and the individual through coaching sessions.

  • Monitor reports for daily production volume to ensure efficiency and accuracy is reflected in assignment groups and overall team statistics and provide to management and quality team as requested. 

  • Provide individual and department training, coaching, counseling, and motivation

  • Hold regular meetings to encourage suggestions for process improvements and to provide necessary information and training updates.

  • Work with management to motivate staff by providing an enjoyable working environment that encourages teamwork and internal and external customer service.

  • Consistently offer positive feedback to staff on an individual and department level.

  • Provide coaching to individuals to improve performance, encourage growth, and offer opportunity for success on the job.

  • Counsel and administer corrective action as needed in accordance to department and Human Resource policies and procedures when necessary.

  • Complete bi-annual written performance reviews and discuss with individuals along with ongoing performance updates throughout the year. 

  • Coordinate workflow and procedure changes and issues/problem resolutions as it relates to the department and the company. 

  • Promote cooperation with other associate's, managers and departments to achieve excellent internal and external customer service.

  • Address questions and concerns from the associate's and assist with problem resolution.

  • Meet regularly with management group to proactively improve processes and resolve potential problems.

  • Handle escalated order issues and provide resolution. 


Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in pharmacy environment and/or customer service environment

  • 1+ year(s) of leadership experience including training and performance reviews/engagement

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Extreme accuracy and attention to detail and data standards.

  • Ability to work in teams and coordinate work efforts.  

  • Attention to customer focus to ensure patients are responded to with accurate and timely information. 

  • Ability to perform sedentary computer work.

  • Occasional standing and walking; Occasional lifting and moving of items ranging from 30 – 60 pounds.
