Job Description

Join our remote/collaborative team as an experienced Data Governance Analyst in support of CDO offices in the federal space. You will support the development of data governance processes and data governance process automation.

Position Duties:

  • Capture and assess data governance practices and identify gaps against modern federal and commercial best practices.
  • Summarize findings to a broad audience of federal clients with rationale that supports gaps.
  • Design high-level process flows and data strategies.
  • Provide rationale for adopting the proposed To-Be data governance processes.
  • Collect stakeholder feedback and adjust per federal guidance.
  • Define a phase-based development and adoption data governance roadmap that includes socialization, stakeholder buy-in, operating procedure documentation, and training.
  • Develop data management procedures, governance approval points, templates, and summary documentation.
  • Support deployment activities such as knowledge sharing sessions, training, and ad-hoc support inquires to help new adopters.
  • Facilitate assessment, design, and implementation work sessions with contractor and federal stakeholders that apply clear objectives and yield clear action item assignments.
  • Provide guidance and expertise on process adoption and stakeholder collaboration, specifically in data management.
  • Facilitate data management governance decisions points for federal stakeholders and responsible parties.

Qualifications

Required Skillset:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a technology field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience in data management, data analytics, data standards management, and data governance.
  • Experience with Data Governance and large-scale data management environments.
  • Comfortable interacting with multiple layers of client organization from technical to executive level.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Skillset:

  • Experience working as a part of a scrum team

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Ability to obtain public trust clearance.
