In this role, you will be working within SNC's Mission Systems Integration directorate, focusing on SNC's expanding portfolio of ground-based air defense systems. This includes significant involvement in counter unmanned aircraft systems (CUAS), where you will contribute to the development and integration of cutting-edge defense solutions. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including fielded systems, new developmental contracts, and internal research and development initiatives. Your work will be instrumental in ensuring that our air defense systems meet rigorous performance and reliability standards, while also navigating the complexities of integrating various technological components to create cohesive and effective defense mechanisms. Your contributions will not only drive the success of individual projects but also support the broader mission of advancing SNC's capabilities in air defense and CUAS technologies.The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's of Science degree in a related field of study
Typically, 8+ years of progressive technical experience
Knowledge of engineering principles and practice
Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development team
Basic understanding of requirements management, system design, integration
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Qualifications We Prefer:
Typically 2-4 years of relevant leadership and/or project management experience
Experience leading a multi-disciplinary design and development team and communicating with program management and customers
Familiarity with preparation and development of project estimates, technical proposals, and program cost and schedule management
Past history of leading baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of highly integrated trade studies and analysis of alternative
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, parts lists, specifications, instructions and test procedure
Professional Certification in Program Management International (PMI) and/or Program Management Professional (PMP
Experience or certification in INCOSE standard
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
