Job Duties
This position will support, implement and monitor all activities associated with the Computerized Maintenance Management System. The Nottoway Campus (Virginia Center for Behavioral Rehabilitation & Piedmont Geriatric Hospital) values integrity, transparency, relationships, stewardship, balance and vision in its employees. “We support the people who support the people”.
This position will manage the facility’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Including implementation and maintenance of the effective use of CMMS throughout the facility, as well as program updates. Provide direction and support to facility Buildings and Grounds (B&G) functions for the Nottoway Campus. This includes:
• Use of CMMS to manage work processes, inventory, and identify cost of facility maintenance and improvements.
• Work with B&G Director to plan and implement the use of CMMS for delivery and improvement of service, staffing and resources.
• Identify and implement training for CMMS users.
• Evaluates effectiveness of services provided and recommends changes in procedures to meet B&G needs.
Minimum Qualifications
Data/control systems management experience required
Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel required
Experience with communicating data trends to a variety of employees from line staff to executives required.
Additional Considerations
-Prior experience working with a CMMS software system in a large institutional
environment is preferred
-Basic knowledge of maintenance operations preferred.
-An associate’s degree in information sciences or equivalent education or experience in a similar position preferred.
