The PG&E Energy Efficiency (EE) group focuses on inspiring and empowering our customers to eliminate unnecessary energy use, reduce their carbon footprint and save money. We manage a diverse portfolio of products and strategic programs that expertly deliver the right solutions across all customer segments, sizes, geographic locations and engagement preferences. As the nation’s largest energy efficiency program, EE is helping to transform markets, set building codes and appliance standards and be the marker by which all other utilities are measured.

 

The EE Policy Shaping, Analysis & Compliance Team shapes the policy and regulatory environment to give customers control over how they use energy and achieve California’s climate and clean energy goals. The team provides the larger energy efficiency (EE) team with the tools, policies, strategy, data analytics, and compliance support they need to be effective portfolio managers. The team works closely with staff from the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) and other Investor Owned Utilities (IOUs) to develop and analyze EE policies and strategies, recommend policy changes, provide guidance on EE program compliance items, lead our evaluation, measurement and verification (EM&V) efforts, and communicate PG&E EE accomplishments. The team also supports PG&E’s State Government Relations team and other lines of business, providing thought leadership on national and state legislative bills, California Energy Commission (CEC) proposals, and other national and state EE policy issues.

 

Position Summary

Leads the development and implementation of non-technical business projects or administrative projects from inception to closeout utilizing project management tools and methodologies to manage the scope, schedule and cost. This role will support the PG&E Energy Efficiency Policy team in various internal coordination projects to report annual compliance and reporting, as well as external policy compliance items which require participation from all the Program Administrators in California.

 

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory. Work location will be determined by hiring leader and successful candidate.
