A Typical Day
The Quality Systems Representative is Responsible for maintaining and improving the corporate quality management systems while conforming to FSMA and GFSI requirements. Scope of responsibilities includes all facilities, divisions and sites.
Job Responsibilities
- Executes system internal audits against defined standards and company policy and ensures the timely execution and completion of subsequent corrective actions without delay.
- Provides additional corporate support during third party, regulatory, and customer audits as necessary.
- Provides technical training to corporate and site quality team members regarding Ultimus, SharePoint, Audit Management System, Mfiles, SAP QM, etc.
- Writes and modifies formal system documents against defined standards and company policy (including but not limited to, format, grammar, and typographical corrections).
- Ensures all documents are released, reviewed, and revised as needed, and gathers appropriate approvals prior to release for use.
- Follows and enforces compliance with HCC’s standard operating procedures.
- Brings together staff of different disciplines and drives groups to develop, implement, and maintain food safety and quality processes and procedures.
- Executes the development, implementation and communication of HCC food safety and quality policies and goals throughout the organization.
- Demonstrates administrative, writing, and technical savvy.
- Participate in internal and external mock recalls.
- Administers SharePoint.
- Technical interpretation, guidance, and expertise for current GFSI standards.
- Achieve SQF practitioner and PCQI certification to support site & corporate programs. HACCP, Internal auditor.
- Executes corporate procedure and policy change training, as needed.
- Project or other assignments, as required.
- Communicates within all levels of the organization and sites, including external customers.
- Proactively analyzes, directs, and influences organizational resources to ensure GFSI certification.
- Annual completion of OSHA required safety training.

- Achieve common business goals through cooperative alignment with all departments.
What You Will Need
- English skills must be proficient to understand, read, write, and speak English.
- HACCP/Food Safety Systems or QA or Quality systems or GMP or labs experience
- 1 year demonstrated meeting facilitation, cross functional team.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience in Food Quality Systems Programs and/or GFSI programs.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Food Science or Food Technology
- HACCP, Lead Auditor
