Shipping and Receiving Clerk

The Cary Company is seeking a candidate to assist our Logistics team in Oakland, CA. The hours for this role are M-F 6:00a-2:30p.

Duties include but are not limited to:
 

• Use innovation and creativity in developing new processes and procedures
• Manage BOLS, pick tickets, and any additional documents for LTL, TL, and container shipments
• Create Item fulfillments and process paperwork for shipping.
• Greet, check in and direct drivers
• Schedule and monitor carrier pickups
• Order checking to ensure all orders ship out accurately 
• Generate receiving labels for inbound shipments
• Inbound receiving  system input, documentation, product inspection, item identification, labeling, and put away. 
• Assist with work orders 
• File, store, mark orders shipped and manage paperwork.
• Work directly with warehouse management to assist and support 
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment
• Assist in daily cycle count
• Interface with couriers, office personnel and management in response to requests or to ensure service commitments are met
• Receiving PO’s
• Answering phones
• Counting inventory and making adjustments

• Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills
• Sound knowledge about logistics
• Strong knowledge about warehouse functions
