POSITION SUMMARY

Zoetis, the leading animal health company, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Director, SAP Finance.  This role is pivotal to the success and growth of Zoetis. This position is integral in shaping the strategic direction of ERP finance solutions, ensuring they align with the company's overall business objectives and growth ambitions as well as running efficient day to day business operations. By acting as a bridge between executive stakeholders and the technical team, the Senior Product Leader ensures that the product strategy and roadmap are executed efficiently and effectively, delivering high-quality, compliant, and validated solutions that enhance business operations. Additionally, your leadership in managing the budget, fostering team development, and driving innovation within the ERP finance space is crucial for maintaining financial control, operational efficiency, and a competitive edge in the market. This role not only optimizes current processes but also anticipates future needs, unlocking value and supporting Zoetis’ mission to improve animal health and well-being.

As a senior leader, it will be your role to build a world class team capable of delivering the global ambition for Finance.  This includes the leadership of the SAP Finance team globally, staff development, and fostering a collaborative work environment of experts across your domain.  Within this, you will be accountable for delivery of the overall staffing models to deliver against the overall souring model for Zoetis Digital and Tech to include both internal roles, use of external third-party consultants and management of third-party service providers as part of your extended team.

The Senior Product Director, SAP Finance will be a key member of the ERP Leadership Team and help set direction for the use of ERP solutions to meet the company’s growth ambitions.  You will be expected to significantly contribute to the strategic vision and operational excellent of our business.  This entails not only leading your team but participating in high-level decision-making processes that will help shape the future of Zoetis.  This will be done through collaboration across senior leaders in our business to ensure ERP initiatives are aligned with the company’s broader goals and objectives.  You will be expected to champion cross function collaboration along with championing best practices promoting transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Act as the primary liaison between ZTD and executive leaders, ensuring alignment of SAP Finance initiatives with business objectives.

Facilitate regular updates and strategic discussions with senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Develop a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for all SAP Finance products, aligning with Zoetis’ overall business strategy and goals.

Identify market trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to inform and shape the product vision.

Ensure the roadmap includes the integration of specific SAP function modules such as SAP FI (Financial Accounting), SAP CO (Controlling), SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), SAP Ariba (Procurement), and SAP S/4HANA as part of the NextGen ERP Program.

Lead the execution of the SAP Finance strategy, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of projects.

Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to post-implementation support.

Ensure solutions are compliant with regulatory requirements and validated according to industry standards.

Ensure all financial controls and compliance measures are met within the SAP environment.

Implement and manage DevOps practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the SAP Finance function.

Ensure the stability, scalability, and security of the SAP Finance systems through continuous monitoring and improvement.

Implement automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for SAP Finance modules.

Develop and manage the budget for the SAP Finance product, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.  Continuously identify opportunity to reduce the cost of change in our environment.

Track financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Ensure financial controls are maintained and align with Zoetis’ financial policies and procedures.

Manage the day-to-day operations of the SAP Finance function, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement.

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the SAP Finance operations.
