We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Product Owner to join the Digital Applications & Support team within Global Machine Pricing (GMP). This role will lead the development and continuous improvement of the Global Commercial Support System (GCSS)—a critical application supporting merchandising activities for dealer machine and work tool sales. As Product Owner, you will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, gathering feedback, defining priorities, and translating business needs into actionable system enhancements. You will be responsible for shaping both the short- and long-term roadmap for GCSS, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and user requirements. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence a high-impact digital tool and contribute to the success of global machine and work tool sales initiatives.
What You Will Do:
Act as the first point of contact for inquiries related to GCSS processes, functionality, and potential enhancements.
Lead requirements gathering and documentation efforts to support system development and integration projects.
Oversee the implementation of system enhancements and provide training and documentation to business users, highlighting the impact and benefits of changes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including GMP leadership, Caterpillar IT, Cat Financial, Industry Teams, and third-party vendors.
Participate in GMP project teams where system integration is required to meet evolving business needs.
What You Will Have:

Data Gathering & Analysis: Intermediate knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Intermediate knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Effective Communications: Proficient understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Relationship Management: Highly-skilled in relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
Strategic Thinking: Intermediate knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
Base knowledge of various Caterpillar products, product applications, sales variance programs, and business systems
Prior experience exhibiting project management skills
Strong planning and organizational skills while working with a worldwide team
Demonstrated intellectual curiosity regarding customer needs

Summary Pay Range:
$110,520.00 - $165,840.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
