Summary:

This role is for digital leaders who thrive on emerging technology and platform innovation. The position is focused on identifying, developing, and growing AT&T’s presence on next-generation platforms and building new digital capabilities from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

Platform Innovation & Strategy

Identify and develop strategies for growth on emerging platforms such as AR/VR, conversational AI, and community-driven environments (e.g., Reddit, Discord, Quora). Prioritize digital initiatives that extend brand reach and customer value in new spaces.

Technology & Ecosystem Expertise

Maintain a strong understanding of evolving MarTech, AdTech, and content management tools. Influence development roadmaps for emerging capabilities across personalization, automation, and cross-platform data integration.

Digital Incubation & Experimentation

Partner with analytics teams on test-and-learn pilots on new technologies, platforms, and ecosystems. Translate performance into actionable insights and scale winning ideas across digital channels.

Community & Culture Awareness

Build digital growth plans rooted in cultural relevance, influencer engagement, and deep audience understanding—especially across Gen Z and younger millennial audiences.

Cross-Team Collaboration

Work across business units to incubate new ideas and connect platform innovation to broader business goals. Partner closely with innovation, product, and engineering teams.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Passion for platform development and emerging tech

Experience with XR, AI/ML tools, spatial computing, or immersive content

Familiarity with developer ecosystems, SDKs, and API integrations

Strong understanding of digital community platforms and cultural trends

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 5+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
