We are seeking an experienced Senior Back End Developer to join our team in building our cloud-based SaaS data analytics, insight, and tracking platform. You will be responsible for helping shape the application architecture and developing APIs accessing Databricks and other persistent storage. You will be working closely with our data engineering and developer team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop APIs for user-facing features and system functionality.
• Provide input, guidance, and implement application architecture, tooling, and data security.
• Optimize components for maximum performance across platforms and browsers.
• Integrate the product suite with Azure services (including Azure Databricks) for security,
  deployment, and data storage.
• Actively participate in team meetings and code reviews.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience developing complex data-driven application back-ends.
• 3+ years of experience working with Databricks tooling including Delta Lake, Unity
  Catalog and SQL Warehouse.
• Strong experience (3+ years is a must) with Python, Node.js, and SQL/NoSQL
  databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, etc).
• Deep understanding of data-driven application architectures and tooling.
• Hands-on experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs on FastAPI or Flask.
• Extensive experience working in cloud environments and applications, preferably
  Microsoft Azure.
• Extensive experience with/knowledge of app deployment and security best practices.
• Proficiency with object-oriented programming and data structures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Nice to have:

• DevOps and data engineering experience.
• Functional programming experience.
• Knowledge of scalable application design patterns.
