The Florida PALM Project (the Project) is an enterprise project to replace the State of Florida’s legacy accounting, payroll and cash management systems, using an enterprise resource planning solution. The Department of Financial Services (DFS) is leading this statewide initiative, which impacts stakeholders and users of the State’s financial data including all State agencies.

Requirement:

• Three (3) or more years in Information Technology, particularly in the areas of legacy and service-oriented architecture integration is required. A postsecondary degree in a relevant discipline (i.e., Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science) may be used as an alternative for the years of experience on a year-for-year basis.

 

 

Additional requirements:

• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in developing and testing processes for the extract, transform and load (ETL) of data from source system applications.

 

Preferences:

• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in the software development lifecycle including, technology requirements gathering, configuration, development, testing and implementation of systems.
• Participated in data conversion efforts to migrate data from a legacy system into a new system.
• Database related experience including advanced SQL data analysis and development (stored procedures, functions, etc.).

 

 

This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment.

 

Salary Range - $85,000.00 - $100,000.00.

 

Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.
