Airgas is Hiring for a Technician Technician in San Bernardino CA!

We are looking for you!

  • Monday - Friday 5:00 am to 1:30 pm

  • Consults with customers regarding cylinder gas inventory par levels.

  • Adjusts inventory levels to accommodate customers seasonal demands

  • Hourly pay $25-$28 per hour plus Bonus

  • Consults with customers regarding cylinder gas inventory par levels.
  • Adjusts inventory levels to accommodate customers seasonal demands.

  • Place and process orders through the AirGas.com/SAP system.

  • Document cylinder gas inventory usages using either Google forms or Google sheets.

  • Support the separation of empties from full and in use cylinders.

  • Rotate all non-specialty gases products every 30 days.

  • Perform scheduled rounds to maintain par levels at all locations within the facility.

  • Pickup and return empty cylinders to storage area(s) to assist with return to production facility.

  • Oversee and receive cylinder gas deliveries to confirm accurate delivery documentation.

  • Change out gas/liquid cylinder manifolds at the service sites.

  • Align with all applicable facility guidelines and procedures, as well as all applicable Airgas Standards and regulatory guidelines including, but not limited to: SAFECOR, HS&E, JHACO, CGMP, OSHA, etc.

  • Complete assigned tasks as per existing procedure.

  • We are looking for the ability to make initial evaluations and then seek proper assistance when encountering problem situations.

  • Respond to emergency situations to support an uninterrupted supply of product.

  • Conduct cylinder audits at specified intervals.

  • Provide inventory usage reports to the hospital.

  • Collaborate with the local accounts payable department to support accurate billing and timely payment.

  • Committed to the safety of all persons, and general public surrounding facilities. Safety is a condition of continued employment.

  • Actively participating with the local safety department to help hospital personnel properly handle and store medical gas products.

  • Share any Good Catch incidents with the Airgas manager/customer immediately.

Are you a MATCH?

Required Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business, Welding Technology or Sales preferred.

Required Length & Type of Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in product distribution or inventory management.

  • Must have a valid US Driver's License.

  • Experience with welding and safety products or related industrial products a plus
