Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Workday Benefits Consultant to join our team and play a key role in implementing, configuring, and supporting Workday Benefits solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep functional expertise in Workday HCM with a strong focus on Benefits, as well as proven experience in client-facing consulting, configuration, testing, and end-user support.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Workday Benefits modules (Health, Insurance, Retirement, Flex Benefits).

• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Finance stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system solutions.

• Configure business processes, eligibility rules, enrollment events, and benefit plans in Workday.

• Conduct fit-gap analysis and provide best practice recommendations for Benefits administration.

• Support integrations with payroll providers, carriers, and third-party vendors.

• Lead and mentor junior consultants on Benefits configuration and testing.

• Create and execute test scripts, support UAT, and troubleshoot issues.

• Deliver end-user training and documentation for Benefits processes.

• Stay current with Workday feature releases and provide recommendations for system optimization.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Workday Benefits Consultant (including configuration, testing, and deployment).

• Strong knowledge of U.S. Benefits administration (Health, Dental, Vision, FSA, HSA, COBRA, 401(k), Retirement).

• Solid understanding of Workday HCM core concepts (Organizations, Security, Business Processes).

• Experience with Open Enrollment configuration and Benefits integrations.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and client-facing communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Payroll, Absence, and Compensation modules.

• Experience with Workday reporting (Advanced, Calculated Fields, BIRT).

• Prior consulting experience with large-scale Workday implementations.
