About the Role

We’re seeking a Senior User Researcher to join our Design & Research team. You’ll report into the VP, Head of Design & Research and work alongside another senior researcher to advance the discipline of user research at Demandbase.

This role is about partnering with product, design, and engineering teams to uncover insights that shape strategy and execution. You will help define how research gets done—setting processes, ensuring rigor, and enabling the organization to measure twice and cut once. You’ll be instrumental in scaling the discipline, spotlighting wins, and showing the tangible impact of research on our products and customers.

If you’re energized by simplifying complexity, cutting through noise to get to actionable solutions, and helping a high-growth org see the value of user insights, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Shape the Research Process: Partner with design leadership to define scalable, repeatable research practices across teams.
  • Run Critical Research: Lead generative and evaluative studies that inform product strategy and help prioritize opportunities.
  • Collaborate & Influence: Work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering, ensuring research insights drive decisions.
  • Tell the Story: Synthesize and share research findings with clarity—helping the org see, celebrate, and act on insights.
  • Measure & Demonstrate Value: Track how research contributes to design quality, product adoption, and customer success.
  • Scale the Discipline: Help democratize research through training, toolkits, and frameworks, empowering non-researchers to apply lightweight methods.
  • Champion the Customer: Be a visible advocate for our users in strategic and tactical conversations.

What We’re Looking For

  • 6–8+ years of UX research experience in SaaS, enterprise, or B2B contexts.
  • Expertise across a range of qualitative and quantitative methods, and fluency in when/how to apply them.
  • Strong storytelling and influence skills, able to persuade diverse stakeholders and executive audiences.
  • Experience in shaping research culture—building processes, evangelizing insights, and scaling research impact.
  • Track record of working in fast-moving, data-rich environments with a pragmatic, test-and-learn mindset.
  • A collaborator who values partnership with design, product, and engineering to get the best outcomes.

Even Better If You Have:

  • Familiarity with AdTech, MarTech, or data-rich enterprise products.
  • Experience measuring the impact of research on business or product
