As a Security Officer - Retail Site Patrol - PT in Lumberton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment at a bustling retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to visitors, staff, and customers. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises using a company vehicle as you monitor the area and address any security-related concerns. You will serve as a point of contact in various situations, using your communication skills and customer service approach to assist and support those on-site. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activities.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting any unusual activity.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed.
• Assist first responders and/or law enforcement during emergency situations as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements. This is primarily a driving post.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
