JELD-WEN is currently seeking a 2025 Summer Internship - IT Data & Analytics, CLT, NC to join our growing team.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

The JELD-WEN Summer Internship Program empowers talented undergraduate students to gain real-world working experience and professional development in one of our business areas. This position is focused on the IT Data and Analytics Team. The internship program includes meaningful projects and challenging work assignments geared at developing professional competencies and skills in a chosen discipline. Additionally, throughout the summer internship, participants will have the opportunity for professional development, mentoring, and networking opportunities to help enhance future leadership.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO        

In the past, our interns have had the opportunity to:

• Assist in the development and implementation of hyperautomation solutions to streamline data processes.
• Support the design, training, and deployment of AI and ML models for various business applications.
• Conduct data analysis and visualization to uncover insights and support decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Apply data-driven problem-solving techniques to real-world business opportunities.
• Participate in the evaluation and integration of new analytics tools and technologies.
• Document processes, methodologies, and findings to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
• Gain exposure to JELD-WEN’s technical and business leadership through presentations and collaborative projects.

SKILLS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE

Required:

• Currently enrolled rising junior or rising senior pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
• Basic understanding of AI, ML, and data analytics concepts
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, agile environment

 

Recommended:

• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik) is a plus
• Relevant internship or previous work experience
• Leadership experience and relationship-building skills
