General Labor

Job Description

General Laborers are responsible for supporting various task in warehouse/production setting. They must be able to fill and support other departments in the facility, and they must be familiar with different job roles. They must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. due to supporting other positions when necessary. They must also have attention to detail to assure departments meet deadlines.

• Responsible for assembling boxes, labeling, and tracking packed productions
• Attention to detail to assure that packaging is not being sent with tears, cracks, or dents
• Attention to detail to assure that items in boxes are packaged correctly by the items' specific fragility
• Perform production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling, and sorting
• Responsible for filling out forms and papers to record measurements of weight and production count
• Document quality inspection based on standard operating procedures

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. due to supporting other positions when necessary.
• Must also have attention to detail to assure departments meet deadlines.
