Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Ivy Hills Living Spaces in Cincinnati, Ohio
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm, with an on-call rotation every 3rd week.

Community Size: 164 units

Who You Are:

• Experience: Minimum of two years in multi-family residential maintenance, with a focus on HVAC systems and plumbing.
• Skills: General maintenance knowledge in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, apartment turnovers, grounds, pool care, lighting, and more.
• Customer Service: Excellent communication skills and a positive, customer-friendly attitude when addressing residents' needs.
• Team Player: Collaborative and cooperative, with the ability to work well with others.
• Initiative-taking: Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Diligence: A strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Tools: Own basic hand tools.
• Tech Savvy: Basic computer and/or smartphone skills.
• Essentials: Valid driver’s license with a reliable truck or van and auto insurance.
• Compliance: Willing to submit to a drug and background check if offered the position.

What You'll Do as a Maintenance Technician: 

• Maintenance Tasks: Utilize skills in HVAC, pool maintenance, electrical, plumbing, groundskeeping, apartment turnovers, appliance repair, carpentry, locks and keys, and lighting.
• Work Orders: Complete resident work orders while maintaining positive resident relations and keeping the community clean and presentable.
• Emergency Response: Address emergencies during on-call shifts or as situations arise.
