Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical

Overview

• Department: Medical Surgical Oncology

• Schedule: Days, 7:00am - 7:30pm, 3-12 hour shifts 

• Facility: Prime Healthcare St Joseph Hospital

• Location: Elgin, IL 

 

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care within the scope of practice in Oncology. Provides chemotherapy and related medical oncology treatments and education to adult patients with diagnosed malignancies.  Reports to Clinical Manager for Oncology/Hematology and Cancer Registry Services.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1.     Current and valid state RN License.

2.     Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

3.     Oncology Nursing Certification preferred.

4.     Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $35.35 to $53.58. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
