Leadership and Operational Competencies
- Lead shift planning and objective setting with Warehouse and Delivery teams
- Establish, track, and deliver Operational Performance Benchmarks
- Organize daily shift expectations and review prior-day results
- Supervise scheduling, safety, training, and workflow efficiency
- Uses WMS and reporting tools to make operating decisions
- Leverages productivity and routing data to improve performance
- Anticipates issues and implements process improvements
People Leadership Accountability
- Builds disciplined, accountable teams
- Coaches consistently and develops future leader
- Creates a culture of safety, ownership, and execution
- Direct supervision of warehouse and delivery personnel
- Conduct evaluations, coach performance, and administer discipline when needed
- Build Individual Development Plans and develop bench strength

Works cross-functionally to solve operational challenges
Systems, Productivity, & Controls
- Approve employee hours and manage overtime compliance
- Review productivity metrics and identify efficiency opportunities
- Monitor routing, merchandising, and delivery schedules
- Track mileage, fuel usage, timecards, and operational KPIs
- Budget-conscious decision making
- Identifies cost-saving opportunities without sacrificing standards
- Manages labor and assets responsibly
Warehouse & Inventory Excellence
- Maintain accurate inventory, bin locations, and product dating
- Ensure proper product rotation and receiving accuracy
- Oversee breakage and repack processes
- Monitor Controlled Environment Warehouse temperature standards
Execution & Standards Management
- Enforces consistent processes across teams
- Maintains high standards for safety, equipment, and brand image
- Drives follow-through and operational reliability
Fleet, Equipment, & Facility Oversight
- Lead fleet and equipment maintenance coordination
- Ensure safe, clean, professional fleet presentation
- Maintain facility standards aligned with company image
Safety & Training
- Ensure safe equipment operation across all team members
- Lead forklift certification and training programs
- Enforce safety programs and operational compliance
Core Qualifications
- 3+ years industry experience
- 2+ years operations or warehouse leadership experience
- College degree preferred
- CDL preferred, not required
- Forklift certification (ability to train and certify others)
- Ability to lift product as needed
- Proficiency with Encompass WMS
- Clear communicator across warehouse, delivery, and leadership teams
- Earns respect through competence and consistency
