The Regional Sales Engineer Position The Regional Sales Engineer will be assigned company qualified appointments to meet with homeowners at their residences who are exploring energy products and services Sunnova has to offer. Regional Sales Engineers combine their product knowledge and engineering knowledge to recommend the best solution that maximizes customer long term value. Senior Regional Consultant Responsibilities ·       On time arrival to scheduled appointments·       Self Generate leads and earn referral sales ·       Conduct Site Assessments to identify equipment locations·       Draft Solar and Battery Designs·       Price Sunnova products including but not limited to: Solar, Battery, Generator, Roof, HVAC, EV Charger, Intelligent Load Controllers.·       Guides customers through contract signing and the post-sale journey·       Monthly Sales Quota: 8 Sales Minimum Requirements·       College Degree with STEM Background and/or Journeyman Electrical license Holder in any states in US. Preferred Qualifications·       Residential electrical experience·       Experience in backup load calculations such as Residential Battery or Standby Generators Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities·       Accurate Data Entry and Management·       Ability to go door to door to educate homeowners·       Great In-person and over-the-phone Sales Conversation Skills, such as actively listening and feel/felt/found objection handling·       Solar and Battery Design knowledge·       Accurately Forecasting Business on Monthly Cadence Working Conditions·       Open-office environment and/or Remote-office environment·       Driving Required: Valid driver’s license with clean motor vehicle record Physical Requirements·       Ability to lift 50 pounds weights·       Ability to conduct in home assessments and consultations·       Ability to be on the road most time of the working day BenefitsSunnova offers a generous employee reward package that includes:·       Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, healthcare flexible spending account, and 401(k) with employer match.·       Competitive compensation ·       Paid time off, including 10 holidays and Paid Parental Leave·       Cell phone allowance for many roles·       Free access to onsite fitness center in Houston and/or discounted fitness memberships through health provider·       Complimentary garage parking in Houston All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.If you are selected for a position, your employment will be contingent upon submission to and successful completion of a post-offer/pre-placement drug test (and medical examination if required by the role) as well as pre-placement verification of the information and qualifications provided during the selection process.
