JOB SUMMARY
The Administrative Support Specialist serves as the welcoming first point of contact for The Road Home, embodying the agency's mission and compassion. This role is responsible for professionally greeting all guests and visitors, managing a multi-line phone system, and ensuring the security of the reception area. Key duties include providing general administrative support, managing office inventory and mail, and coordinating employee events, all while maintaining a trauma-informed, safe, and organized environment.

*This is an in-person position that requires travel between various resource centers and shelters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet all visitors to The Road Home Housing and Administrative Services building in a warm and professional manner.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls, taking accurate and detailed messages when necessary.
- Professionally handle general inquiries and resolve complaints received through the main agency phone lines.
- Document and report observations, non-emergency and emergency calls, illegal activity on the premises
- Accurately place orders for agency supplies and services, following all established procedures.
- Maintain and track office supply inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels are met.
- Receive, sort, and distribute all incoming mail and packages in a timely manner.
