About the role
Little Sprouts is currently seeking a Certified Toddler Teacher to join our team in Peabody. Little Sprouts is a network of 39 preschools and early learning centers across New England. We prioritize employee experience and are closed the week between Christmas and New Year. This offers you a guaranteed week of paid time off upon hire. Our school director in Peabody carries more than 16 years of leadership experience and is a trusted and dedicated mentor. A Typical Day Looks Like:
- Manage classroom daily needs to support your student's health and well-being.
- Communicate with families and caregivers in person and digitally.
- Foster an environment that promotes a love of learning by Implementing our child-focused educational approach, rooted in social-emotional learning, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) curriculum, and nature-based learning.
Requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma, GED, or be enrolled in classes.
- Adhere to all company policies and EEC regulations.
- Ability to stand, move, run, and play for most of the day.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds multiple times a day.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must pass required state and company background checks.
- EEC teacher certification or requirements completed to be submitted for review.
- Skilled in play-based learning approaches and social-emotional education.
