EJ has immediate openings for 3rd Shift DC Assembly/Shipping starting at $21.50 per hour with an additional $1.50 shift premium.

SUMMARY

Safely drive industrial equipment to load and move materials, as well as assemble and package castings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Uses power and/or hand tools per work instruction database and associated information systems.
• Drives industrial equipment to move materials.
• Uses computer to obtain and/or input information.
• May aid in training of others.
• May be assigned to different jobs within the department.
• Assist in shipping/receiving activity within the Distribution Center; packaging/loading product, and assembly of castings.
• Provides suggestion for improvement of all our systems.
• Promotes the culture, the mission and vision, and the core values of the company. This includes adherence to and promotion of the company safety beliefs, employee engagement, competencies, code of conduct, and other policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend instruction, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add and subtract four-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but involved written and/or verbal instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
