Sr QA Engineer/Lead - Mobile [Android/iOS and POS devices]
Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness. Design and implement testing plans for products.Perform extensive automation testing of the business website on desktop, mobile, and tablet platforms and mobile app on iOS and Android devices.Responsible for defect tracking, defect reporting in JIRA and defect reproducing and Maintaining defect status and tracking project progress in qtest.Attending Agile meetings (Daily scrum meeting/ Sprint planning/ Backlog refinement) on assigned projects to update the status of the testing and call out the blockers for the project.Manage communication with the development team to assist with explaining the found defects and helping in resolution of the defects.Work closely with Engineering Management, Product Team, Developers, and users to identify testing requirements for web and mobile applications.Hands on experience with JIRA/Ticket Management/qTest to manage the entire QA and testing processExperience managing test cases through an Agile delivery methodologyDefine and implement an end-to-end manual and automated product test strategy.Create quality assurance dashboards for increased visibility through the organization.Collaborate with cross functional teams to solve problems.Ability to mentor and lead a possible future team.
Extensive experience leading and executing quality assurance minimum 5-7 yearsAbility to set the standards and future of the quality assurance team.Responsible for manual and automated testing of both the web and mobile applications, including UI, functionality, usability, integration, and data testing.Research and select the appropriate automation software, automation framework, coverage, and future useAble to clearly and effectively document, reportExperience with device based [Zebra/POS] highly preferredMobile AutomationAppium [POM/Locator Strategy/Data and Keyword Driven]Experience in Test Automation Frameworks and Test Automation Tools (Selenium/Cypress/Cucumber/TestNg/JAVA etc...)Understanding of APIs and API automationAbility to present technical information to both technical / non-technical audienceMust be a team player, and work well with othersMulti-tasking and workload management abilities.Great teams do amazing things, but truly diverse teams are the ones who can achieve extraordinary results, together.
