Overview
The Pharmacy Technician II Certified Retail Specialty performs specialized functions necessary to assist pharmacists in providing safe, efficient, and cost-effective services. Responsibilities
Receives and transcribes orders, answers phones, and sells prescriptions in order to maintain the pharmacy workflow. Assists in inventory maintenance.Serves as a reference for other pharmacy technicians.Helps mentor employees through training and orientation processes. Leads and implements process improvement and departmental quality initiatives. Delivers quality customer service to every patient.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications
EDUCATION:Required: High School Diploma or equivalent EXPERIENCE:Required: 2 years LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:Pharmacy Technician certification through PTCB or NHA prior to hire. Registered with the NC Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire.Apply for this role
