Internal Communications Manager

About the role

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Communication Development: Develop and implement internal communication strategies that align with organizational goals and business priorities. Ensure messaging is clear, engaging, and consistent across multiple channels, including emails, newsletters, intranet updates, digital signage, and company-wide town halls. Serve as a key advisor to leadership on communication best practices, ensuring alignment with company tone and branding. 

Change Communications: Lead the planning and execution of change communication strategies to support organizational transformations. Develop clear, transparent messaging to guide employees through change, reducing uncertainty and fostering engagement. Act as a trusted partner to senior leaders, ensuring communication efforts are aligned with business objectives and resonate with employees. 

Content Creation and Management: Write, edit, and manage content for internal platforms, ensuring it is concise, engaging, and aligned with company values. Develop compelling narratives for announcements, leadership messages, and company initiatives. Collaborate with design and marketing teams to create visual and multimedia content that enhances engagement and drives key messages. 

Employee Engagement and Feedback: Support initiatives aimed at strengthening employee engagement by facilitating two-way communication. Leverage surveys, focus groups, and direct feedback loops to understand employee sentiment and drive meaningful improvements. Partner with HR and leadership to ensure communication strategies support company culture and reinforce core values. 

Metrics and Continuous Improvement: Monitor and analyze internal communication effectiveness using key performance indicators (KPIs). Track engagement metrics and gather insights to optimize communication strategies. Use data-driven approaches to refine messaging, improve participation in internal initiatives, and enhance overall communication impact. 

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support: Work closely with HR, Marketing, and other departments to ensure a cohesive and unified approach to internal messaging. Support the preparation of executive communications, internal presentations, and announcements. Ensure that company-wide messages are aligned and effectively distributed across all relevant employee touchpoints. 

 

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

·Bachelor's degree in communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. 

·5-7 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or public relations, with a focus on change communications. 

·Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills. 

·Experience managing content for multiple communication channels, including digital platforms. 

·Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. 

·Familiarity with communication tools (e.g., intranets, email marketing software, and content management systems). 

·Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
