Receiving Associate

 Description

The Receiving Associate must be able to demonstrate the ability to receive and unload deliveries. Ensure accurate inventory counts and fulfillment of specific orders, and package products that are ready to be shipped out. Accurately process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor and support the sales floor by stocking and maintaining store displays. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

· Assist in the receiving of inbound inventory.

· Assist in picking and transferring of inventory.

· Unloads trucks as needed.

· Verify accuracy of all incoming shipments.

· Maintains a clean and neat receiving area.

· Assist with other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Education Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent 

· Proven ability to work within established processes

· Functional proficiency with computer programs and systems 

· Outstanding oral and written communication, interpersonal, and persuasive skills required to interact with all levels of the store team and guests. 

· Ability to stand for extended periods. 

· Ability to lift, move, and carry objects up to 50 pounds. 

· Ability to constantly do repetitive motions such as moving wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

· Must be able to physically climb ladders, bend, or crawl into tight spaces. 

· Ability to work in low or high temperatures. 

· Ability to occasionally operate machinery and/or power tools

· Ability to work in a noisy environment.

· Ability to interpret and follow instructions. 

· Have critical thinking skills, as well as analytical skills. 

· MUST PASS DRUG TEST, BACKGROUND CHECK AND ANY PRE-EMPLOYMENT TESTS IF APPLICABLE.
