Description
As a Marketing Data Analyst you will be responsible for maintaining reports, monitoring channel performance and executing analysis. You will share the team’s goals of accurate customer targeting, channel growth, marketing optimization, and actionable reporting. You will support management’s strategic decision-making by providing insights via dashboards, regular reports, and ad hoc research reports.What you will be doing:
- Build out dashboards and reports to support decision-making and business unit workflows in the marketing organization.
- Analyze user data and design experiments to determine the most effective messages and visualizations to convert desired customers.
- Increase the accuracy of channel performance analysis, particularly concerning mobile attribution and SKAdNetwork.
- Help the marketing team to identify optimization opportunities across our channels, and identify new ones.
- Develop data-driven customer targeting and segmentation approaches
- Make recommendations and collaborate with the marketing team in designing experiments to test new ideas.
- Build a measurement framework to prove the effectiveness of optimization and experiment
- You have a business mindset - you can balance CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost) with LTV (Lifetime Value) and think about opportunities from many angles, incorporating both qualitative and quantitative data.
Your experience will include:
- Excellent at data visualization, building and maintaining dashboards, and analytical reports.
- Excellent at identifying opportunities through data.
- Having a great feel for numbers, and can easily identify things that don’t look right.
- Creative, bold, and data-oriented. Not scared to try an experiment, but always measure performance to determine success.
- Excellent communication skills - you can present the story behind the data and collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
- Organized and technical.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's Degree. in a quantitative field, e.g. Data Science, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics, etc.
- 3+ years of hands-on technical experience in marketing or similar Analytics roles (in the car insurance industry is a major plus).
- Experience working with paid-for web and app-based products and services.
- Experience with tools such as Lightdash, MixPanel, Segment, Google Big Query, Google Firebase, Google Ads, and Google Analytics.
- Deep understanding of statistics and experimental design.
- Some programming skills in Python/SQL/Pandas/Jupyter.
