As an exercise planner on our team, you’ll develop, implement, and measure the effectiveness of plans and procedures for clients, creating rich content using Microsoft Office to help you tell a realistic story. You’ll listen to client challenges and identify threats, gaps, or risks that need to be explored and provide a safe space for recommendations that will make lasting, real-world impact.

As a leader in Global Defense, you’ll have the chance to work cross-functionally with wargame analysts, operations researchers, and senior leadership on projects that are making an impact on critical missions. You’ll share your expertise and collaborate with the industry’s best programs like Exercise Design and Event Planning and Facilitation.

You Have:  

• 5+ years of experience planning and executing a Component or Joint Exercise Program

• Experience with the Five Stages of the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC)

• Experience with the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP), Army Design Methodology (ADM), and Joint Planning Process (JPP)

• Knowledge of Joint and Multinational exercise design at the operational level

• Ability to take an exercise from the concept phase, plan the exercise, and prepare and provide a senior-level concept of operation brief 

• Ability to operate under Commander’s intent

• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, both domestically and internationally

• Secret clearance 

• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:  

• 8+ years of experience at the brigade level or above

• Experience with Maritime or Air Operations

• Experience supporting an exercise budget with multiple funding streams

• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Office 365 

• Knowledge of the aspects of Multi-Domain Operations

• Possession of excellent time management, organizational leadership, and written and verbal communication skills

• Master’s degree

Clearance: 
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
