Experienced Veterinary Technician or Licensed Technician

We at Great Lakes Animal Hospital have been proudly serving the greater Clinton Township area for many years. Our practice prides itself on ensuring high quality care, optimal client experience and an five star team environment that feels like you're part of a family.
We are looking to add a highly skill veterinary technician to our team. Our ideal candidate will be someone who is skilled in anesthesia and dentistry as well as working the floor seeing routine appointments. We are looking for someone that wants to be part of a collaborative team with the same goal of providing the best care for our patients and their owners.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Typically requires an associate degree in veterinary technology or a related field preferred
- Licensing/Certification: Active Veterinary Technician License in the state of MI preferred
- Technical Skills: Ability to perform medical procedures, handle diagnostic equipment, and manage patient care. Required skills include anesthesia, surgical monitoring and prep, dentistry and phlebotomy
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to interact with clients and work as part of a veterinary team.
Physical Demands:
Veterinary technicians must be comfortable lifting animals, standing for extended periods, and handling potentially challenging situations with animals.
