Our work depends on a Program Analyst Senior joining our team to manage, track, and report on all phases of our Minor Releases, assist Special Project Managers, create and track project risks and opportunities, and work closely with our Release Management team. HOW A PROGRAM ANALYST SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Performs a variety of complex administrative and analytical tasks in support of the MSPSC contract program, Special Project Managers, and the Release Management team
- Works closely with the Project Scheduler to develop plans, including schedules, and monitors tasks to meet contractual/project requirements for the assigned program
- Monitors and reports performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met
- Has intimate knowledge of the Project Management Lifecycle, which includes SOW defined deliverables
- Works closely with the Risk Lead and Development Managers in the creation and monitoring of risks and opportunities, which includes generating weekly reports
- Gathers, collects, records, tracks, verifies, and analyzes data and information from multiple sources
- Compiles various contract, program, and financial data for use in the preparation of reports such as weekly or monthly status reports
- Interacts regularly with customers and the integration contractor to ensure conformance to customer requirements
- Assists with artifact development and delivery supporting CMMI best practices and contractual deliverables
- Takes meeting minutes, and distributes as appropriate
- Assigns and tracks staff onboarding/offboarding activities
- May perform business development activities
- May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
- Volunteers to take on stretch tasks to further enhance Project Management and MSPSC program knowledge
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of related experience.
- Experience developing and tracking projects using Microsoft Project (online preferred).
- Experience with development and management of Risks and Opportunities.
- Experience with SharePoint, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Effective organizational skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proven ability to handle simultaneous assignments and meet stringent deadlines.
- Proven analytical skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures used in Project Management.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word.
- Timeline driven.
Recommended Skills and Abilities:
- Certifications based on Program and/or technology being supported. Examples may include PMO related certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CSM, Six Sigma
- Knowledge of CMMI V2 L3 for Development Preferred
CLEARANCE: candidate must have resided in the US for 3 of the last 5 years and pass a background investigation in order to obtain a Public Trust.
