What we do:
The Sr. Test, Evaluation, and Certification Labs Engineer is responsible for coordinating with Engineering and Test Service Suppliers and applying the DO-160 Test requirements to provide test project management and test planning to meet Engineering schedule requirements.
This position will be required to work on-site 5 days a week.
What you can do:
- Complete DO-160 Testing: Environmental Conditions and Test Procedures for Airborne Equipment, published by RTCA (Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics)
- Collaborate with the Test and Engineering teams to define requirements
- Collaborate with the Test and Engineering teams to produce Test Plans and Test Procedures
- Collaborate with test houses to conduct and witness tests
- Review and approve test results in conjunction with responsible Engineering groups
- Coordinate with Supply Chain/Procurement to find appropriate and accredited test suppliers to support
- Manage the portfolio of DO-160 test requirements to ensure Engineering commitment dates are met
- Work closely with TEC Laboratory and Ground Operations and Flight Test organization to ensure alignment with strategy and current test capabilities
- Other duties as assigned
What you can contribute:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field required
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in aerospace engineering or similar engineering field (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
- Experience in DO-160 Certification Training
- Experience in Commercial Certification
- Proven experience in electrical/mechanical laboratory testing
- Experience in managing complex projects across multi-discipline teams
- Experience with DOORS or other requirements management tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive delivery of communication and follow-up
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be a critical thinker who is adept at relationship building and leading through influence
- Must have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
You may also be able to contribute:
- Experience in MIL-STD-810 preferred

Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of total compensation.
