Description
Hapi is a data streaming, integration, and enrichment platform with robust transactional APIs designed and developed by Data Travel, LLC. to solve the hotel industry’s data management challenges.This role will report to the Director of Signature Support Services and will be responsible for the delivery of Hapi’s new Signature Support Services. The Signature Support Services team will consist of Opera Subject Matter Experts and Engineers who will work closely with central and property teams from a leading hotel company to ensure the Loyalty Program is operating as expected. This team is expected to scale significantly as the Hapi Platform and the Loyalty Program enable growth in utilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated support services to a premier client, resolve Opera issues related to OXI, OWS, financial transactions, etc.
- Identify trends and common issues.
- Build a knowledge base of known resolutions.
- Leverage monitoring tools to identify issues proactively and work with corporate and property resolve underlying issues.
- Create user training documentation and provide user training on an as-needed basis.
- Test new features and functionality of the Hapi Platform, contribute to requirements gathering processes, and assist with testing.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Located within Australian time zones (AEST/AEDT, ACST/ACDT, AWST) or within close proximity to these time zones.
- At least 2 years’ experience implementing and/or supporting Opera PMS Solutions.
- Experience implementing and supporting OXI and OWS interface.
- Professional English communication skills.
- Expert level front-end knowledge of the OPERA PMS, and advanced-level knowledge of OPERA backend and architecture.
- Intermediate experience with Oracle database and the ability to execute SQL statements.
- Intermediate understanding of network operations.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON documents, and tools like Postman.
- Familiarity with AWS, including EC2, Lambdas, and CloudWatch.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Service Cloud (preferred).
