Your Career
You will be responsible for setting a long-term people strategy for our Network Security business unit (NetSec) and driving the implementation of that strategy. NetSec is Palo Alto Network’s largest business unit providing industry leading SASE, Next Generation Firewall, and Cloud Delivered Security Services.
You will work across the business and people team to deliver an integrated people plan taking creative approaches to meet the needs of today and to make sure we are prepared for the future. As the leader of the people team you will need to understand the business and market deeply, help us rethink how we are organized and the capabilities required. You will be a champion of significant change and be a coach to the leadership team on this journey. Our product portfolio has expanded significantly over the last five years and we have bold ambitions to continue to be the cyber security partner of choice. We are also committed to making sure our employees love working here and this will require continual investment in our people practices to make sure each of our employees truly loves their work.
Your Impact
- Develop the Long-Term People Strategy: Collaborate with senior leadership and the HR team to create a comprehensive and forward-thinking people strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and values.
- Drive Transformation in Organization Design: Lead cross-functional teams in redesigning organizational structures, roles, and processes to meet evolving business needs, working closely with other HR functions.
- Coach and Develop Leaders: Provide guidance and coaching to senior leaders and managers to enhance their leadership skills, foster a high-performance culture, and drive employee engagement, in coordination with leadership development programs.
- Lead a Team of People Business Partners: Manage and mentor a team of People Business Partners, providing them with the support and resources they need to excel in their roles, while ensuring alignment with overall HR strategies.
- Collaborate Across the People Function: Work closely with other HR functions such as Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, and Learning & Development to deliver an integrated plan for the business.
- Innovative Workforce Planning: Develop and implement creative approaches to workforce planning, including talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning, to ensure the organization remains agile and competitive.
- M&A Integration: Design tailored integration plans that address cultural integration, employee communication, change management and talent retention.
- Change Management: Drive change initiatives, ensuring effective communication, training, and stakeholder engagement and that changes stick.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize HR analytics and data to identify trends, assess the impact of HR initiatives, and make data-driven recommendations to the leadership team and HR colleagues.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required plus progressive HR/People experience in a technology organization or technology related business or equivalent military experience required
