The Role

A Merchandiser is a field-based job responsible for keeping our products fully stocked and rotated on the shelves, coolers, racks, and displays of our retail customers. They work hard, along with our sales and delivery teams, to keep our brands available to the consumer thereby increasing our sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate with all key decision makers in the assigned retail stores
• Fill shelves, replenish existing displays, build new displays, fill coolers, clean product and displays, rotate product
• Keep backstock organized
• Communicate problems, needs, and successes with Congo Field Sales Reps and Congo District Manager
• Complete needed administration through CRM

Key Skills and Experience Required

• A candidate must be 21 years of age.
• Must have and maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license, and maintain auto insurance coverage at least to the minimum amount specified by the Company and state law.
• Must be able to lift products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

Preferred Experience

• Retail experience in grocery, mass, or drug store
• Beverage industry experience

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
