Position Summary

The Team Leader is responsible for the management and daily supervision of a clinical team. Duties include but are not limited to staff supervision, staff training, administration and management of Access Counseling services ensuring timely documentation and quality of services. The Team Leader will serve as "point person" for the Access Counselor team and answer questions, provide guidance and problem solving regarding department issues as needed and attend required meetings. administration, and attend required meetings.

• Licensed - $8,000

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or related field required
• tCADC/CADC required
• Experience in supervising a team in a social service setting (preferred)
• Ability to motivate and solve problems with staff
• Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and personalities
• Ability to adequately assess and re-assess diagnosis, functional limitations and develop plan for reducing these limitations
• Skills to adapt verbal and written communication to the language style of the client and their family
• Ability to coordinate services from a variety of community resources
• Good keyboarding skills and ability to navigate Microsoft Office Suite, ability to learn new computer programs easily

Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Work hours prescribed and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned.
2. Use available data to monitor effective team behavior in compliance with standards.
3. Provide staff feedback on performance via team meetings, monthly supervision and annual reviews. Provide more frequent individual feedback when needed.
4. Participate as part of the management team providing support to the team and other departmental staff.
5. Complete all necessary monthly and quarterly reports by appropriate time lines.
6. Participate in the on-call system.
7. Complete all clinical documentation based on all appropriate regulatory requirements and Rosecrance policy.
8. Utilize variety of treatment concepts, evidence based practices and service modalities when providing care.
9. Demonstrate an ability to identify an individual in crisis, reduce the impact of the crisis on the individual and their supports and determine appropriate disposition
10. Provide leadership by demonstrating self-motivation, seeking improved performance, problem solving while meeting the needs of the staff and consumer
11. Exercise confidentiality in keeping with the professional Code of Ethics and within the framework of the law.
12. Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
13. Serve as a role model and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing the agency.
14. Assume other related responsibilities as delegated by management.

Schedule

• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM (40 hours per week)
• Shift: 1st

Compensation & Rewards

• Base Pay (pay is based on education, experience, and credentials)
  • Bachelors - Starting at $48,339/year 
  • Masters - Starting at $55,161/year
• Incentives:
  • Additional $1,500 per year with tCADC/CADC certification
  • Additional $1,800 per year for tLMHC & LMSW
  • Additional $5,000 per year for LMHC & LISW
