We in Powertrain Solutions (PS) Electronic Controls (EC) offer integrated solutions in the market segments Electric Vehicles, Passenger Cars and Commercial Vehicles / Off-Road and aim to become #1 provider of products and solutions in the diversified powertrain sector ranging from gasoline and diesel injection to electrified drives with battery and fuel cell technologies.

Job Description

  • IT Security & Access Management – Assist in managing user Access Management, Annual Recertifications, IT Role Risk Management process and IT security protocols to ensure compliance and data protection.
  • Automation & Process Optimization – Develop and implement automation scripts, solutions, or tools to enhance IT workflows and efficiency: such as Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft PowerBI, Microsoft Forms, etc. Most importantly, help streamline manual processes and minimize labor for tasks.
  • IT Cost Optimization – Support IT cost analysis initiatives, identifying ways to optimize IT spending and improve resource allocation.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting – Analyze IT security and system data to identify risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Technical Support & Documentation – Assist in troubleshooting IT issues and maintaining clear documentation of processes, automation scripts, and security policies and central directives.
  • Support Divisional IT Communication planning and activities - IT Newsletters, IT Support Sessions, IT Workshops, Information Sharing Meetings, Create and maintain Divisional / Departmental webpages and Community Sites

Qualifications

  • Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university.
  • Academic Progress: By May 2025, must have completed 4 semesters of a BS program or 2 semesters of a Master’s in an IT-related major.
  • Relevant Degrees: Information Technology (IT), Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science (CS), etc.
  • GPA Requirement: Minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Preferred Knowledge: Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, web development, and SAP is a plus.

Indefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.  Future sponsorship for work authorization unavailable. 

Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
