Quality Paint Test Specialist - Lab & Test Analysis (Associate or Experienced)

Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking a dynamic Associate or Experienced Level Quality Paint Test Specialist to support multiple programs in Auburn, Washington.

Position Responsibilities:

• Assists with the development or improvement of inspection or test techniques
• Assists in the design and creation of test coupons to validate equipment or determine product acceptance
• Follows documented procedures to set up and calibrate specialized test or measurement equipment
• Assists in the documentation of procedures for setting up and calibrating test equipment Follows documented procedures to perform tests or inspections and collects data for evaluation of process equipment, software, solutions, products or materials
• Analyzes routine test, inspection or statistical data to determine product and processes conformity or assists with corrective action recommendations
• Elevates anomalous results as required Documents and communicates standard test, analysis or measurement results to ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements
• Works under general supervision

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Proficiecy utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite
• 1 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience using measurement and test equipment
• Experience with aerospace or automotive paint application, paints & coatings, and/or inorganic chemical processes
• Experience applying and evaluating decorative paint for color match
• Experience working with Haztrax & MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

• Summary pay range for Associate level (Level 2): $56,100 - $75,900

• Summary pay range for Experienced level (Level 3): $65,450 - $88,550
