Job Description

Business Intelligence Head leads a team dedicated to empowering the B2B business and its other stakeholders within the Globe Group with data-driven decision-making. This leadership role encompasses crafting and implementing the data strategy, overseeing the day-to-day operations of ensuring data quality and accessibility, and establishing data governance frameworks to ensure its responsible use across all departments.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and manage the Business Intelligence team

• Develop and implement the B2B business’s data strategy

• Oversee data operations to ensure data quality, accuracy, and accessibility

• Establish and enforce data governance frameworks and policies

• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to identify data-driven solutions

• Translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for business leaders

• Continuously monitor and improve data management processes

• Stay current on emerging data technologies and best practices

REQUIREMENTS:

Work Experience:

• Minimum of eight years of total work experience with  at least three in a data analytics, data governance, data operations or a related function; has experience managing a team

Level of Knowledge:

• Has the ability to manage stakeholders (including management) and, ideally, a candidate who has a track record in data analytics, management and governance

• Knows how to use analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Google Data Studio)

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in any business or data-related degree is a minimum and a Masters’ degree in any business or data-related degree is an advantage

• Project management

• Analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to translate business needs to technical solutions

Hard skills (continuation):

• Data operations, governance and management

• Data / analytics tools:

• Required: SQL, Database concepts and data management basics, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Python

• Optional: Data warehousing applications (e.g., Snowflake, Google BigQuery), Tableau, Google Data Studio, HIVE

Certification/License: Data-related certifications is an advantage
