The Enterprise Compliance Manager ensures adherence to legal standards and in-house policies. They perform regular audits of business processes to ensure this compliance. Performance includes demonstration of the following accountabilities: strong communication and interpersonal skills, detail orientation, anticipation, internal motivation, and focused resource and time management. 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all local, state and federal regulations affecting enterprise-wide regulations. Recommend changes/additions to policies and practices to ensure compliance. Include updated information in audits when partnering with affected departments. 
  • Recommend and implement risk management solutions across the enterprise, in partnership with relevant department heads.
  • Develop audit programs and partner with department heads to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal business policies.
  • Design control systems to address cases of violation of internal business policies.
  • Lead and maintain centralized SOP documents and manuals.
  • Partner with Controller and Chief of Staff to develop, document, and maintain corporate policies and procedures not covered in department-specific SOP’s. 
  • Provide guidance to individual departments around SOPs, legal risk, auditing and reporting.
  • Maintain and audit centralized documentation of contracts.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary effort (with Security, Facilities, Operations and HR) to develop, implement, maintain and audit a comprehensive Safety Program that meets all regulatory requirements.
  • Provide leadership and structure for the Team Member Safety Committee
  • Develop agenda for Safety Steering Committee and follow-through on all action items.
  • Other special projects and duties as assigned.


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Minimum of 2 years Risk Management experience in a related industry. 
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. 
  • Ability to independently research project-relevant topics to aid in compliance and decision-making. 
  • Ability to analyze and distill relevant and complex data through writing, speaking, tables, charts, or graphs. 
  • Flexibility and ability to manage multiple priorities and shift quickly from one area of focus to another. 
  • Strong organizational skills. 
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills; professional, courteous, and polite manner. 
  • Leadership and team management skills. 
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office Products). 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks. 
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. 
  • Flexible and reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently. 
  • Service orientation – willingness to say “yes” and go the extra mile to solve problems and find solutions. 
  • Ability to understand the needs of managers and front-line Team Members to create collaborative solutions that help meet legal requirements. Champion workplace risk management and compliance with empathy and understanding.

Full time, Salaried position

Salary Range: $95,000 - $110,000 DOE + Bonus up to 10%
