OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY: Part-Time Lecturer (non-tenure track)

Description
The Department of Occupational Therapy at Tufts University is seeking qualified part-time lecturer candidates to teach occupational therapy graduate courses, beginning September 1, 2025. The candidate should have strong clinical and evidence-based reasoning skills and at least one clear area of OT or relevant practice expertise. The candidate must be able to direct their expertise toward engaging students in scholarship as well as the promotion of activity and participation among diverse populations. Teaching requires in-person assignments.
Qualifications
The Department of Occupational Therapy is a graduate department in the School of Arts and Sciences at Tufts University. The department is a collaborative and close-knit learning community. Faculty, staff, and students use a reflective process to identify and understand occupational performance and well-being to develop inclusive innovative approaches that support meaningful engagement across the lifespan.
Tufts is a teaching and research-intensive R1 university with a rigorous intellectual culture and established ties to the surrounding communities. The school offers students and faculty alike in-depth educational and community-engaged learning experiences and opportunities to explore interdisciplinary approaches to teaching, learning, and scholarship.
Applicants must have a master’s degree in occupational therapy. A doctoral degree and college level teaching experience are preferred.
