Position Overview
As our Senior Associate, you will set the overall tone and strategy of the legal function as well as work across various products, projects and initiatives. You will play a part in helping to drive business growth while also protecting the company’s interests and managing things from a regulatory perspective.
What you will be doing:
Providing strategic legal and regulatory advice to senior management & relevant business stakeholders
Structuring and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements including complex customer and publisher contracts
Advising on and managing the legal aspects of any disputes and employment law matters
Leading on the legal aspects of any M&A transactions that arise and manage external counsel where appropriate
Providing advice on any compliance matters to ensure any business is conducted in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
What we are looking for:
You will be a UK qualified lawyer with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience at a Silver or Magic Circle Law Firm
You are qualified in corporate law with experience in fundraising and M&A transactions
You will be at home in a fast paced, start up environment where you will be comfortable using your initiative to make quick decisions
You will be able to prioritise conflicting demands and deal with multiple projects at once
You will have strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal issues to a range of audiences.
