About the role: 

The TEM operates as a strategic partner to ensure all internal moves and external hires strengthen our succession pools and pipelines. The role works in close partnership with all the other TEMs regionally and globally and the broader HR community to ensure the talent agenda is strengthened and supports delivery of the business performance through a deep appreciation understanding of the commercial ambitions of the business.

The Talent Engagement Manager (TEM) is a critical stakeholder relationship role that is focused on ensuring the consistent delivery and an excellent candidate experience to achieve Diageo’s Talent Ambition, whether through an internal move or an external mid-career hire. The role is deeply connected to the business by market and/or function and enables business performance delivery through the execution of the talent component of the multi-year talent planning process and ensures compliant hiring takes place.

The TEM is accountable for delivering the best quality candidates at the shortlist stage of the hiring process that have been previously been assessed for key capabilities, experience and potential them allowing a hiring manager to select the very best talent for their vacancy.
