POSITION OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a highly responsible position that develops and implements program monitoring and training based on data and Program needs.
PAY:
Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications, ranging from $50,690.64 to $63,000.00, annually.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Develops, implements, disseminates, and delivers consistent statewide trainings for CARES RN Specialists and field staff in conjunction with CARES Headquarter staff based on review and monitoring results, CARES Program needs, and as directed by CARES Bureau Chief.
- Maintains accurate information through review of casework documentation activities.
- Develops and implements program monitoring methodologies, techniques, and plans; designs, implements, and monitors improvement and compliance measures in conjunction with appropriate staff.
- Ensures timely and accurate data collection, reporting, and follow-up with individuals in accordance with established CARES policies, procedures, and regulations as directed in the CARES Handbook or CARES Bureau Chief.
- Works with State and Federal agencies/department; Department of Health, Agency for Health Care Administration, Department of Children and Families, Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services and others as may be identified to maintain full compliance with present and future reporting requirements. Collects, reviews, and disseminates monitoring data to partners as required and/or as assigned by CARES Headquarters.
- Develops or assist with development of program policy, manuals and administrative rules as directed by the CARES Bureau Chief.
- Provides case consultation to CARES staff related to medical conditions/illnesses affecting the clients on an as needed basis. Inputs assessment data into Client Information & Registration Tracking System (CIRTS). Maintains updated data in CIRTS on cases assigned in accordance with established CARES policies, procedures, and regulations as directed in the CARES Handbook.
- Assists and collaborates with RN Specialists, Regional Program Supervisors and other CARES Headquarter staff as directed by CARES Bureau Chief.
- Acts as CARES Record Custodian for Public Record Request in compliance with current Program, Department and State policy and procedures.
- Review and provide guidance to ensure the appropriate Level of Care, program recommendation, and placement recommendation upon request.
- Maintains a high level of professional CARES knowledge, including an understanding of State and Federal rules and laws governing the activities performed by CARES. Improves/enhances professional knowledge, skills, and abilities through education courses, seminars, workshops, review of policies and procedures, etc.
- Participates in pilot/special projects, which involves collaborative efforts to improve assessment and delivery of services.
- Participates in disaster recovery efforts throughout the State of Florida.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Attendance is an essential function of this position.
