- This job is a member of the Information Technology Team within the Information Technology Division.
- Responsible for building test plans, testing strategy for various web based, COTS, and SaaS applications. Also, responsible for planning, designing, creating, and executing automated test suites for multiple applications with supervision by team leads.
What you'll do
- Designs, writes, executes, and maintains automated test scripts for internally developed applications the PSS System
- Maintains automation standards for a product set, including the maintenance and evolution of the master automated regression test set
- Perform Regression and Integration test using tools such as: DB Visualizer, POSTMAN, Newman, RestAssured, WorkSoft, etc.
- Execute performance test using tools like Load Runner, Performance Center, Analyzer
- Actively communicates testing status, including schedule, risks, issues, defects, and potential impact
- Review unit, component, or functional test code written by other development team members
- Troubleshoots issues by researching symptoms, analyzing impacts, and implementing solutions
- Collaborates with Quality Assurance Analysts to plan, develop, and maintain automation regressions and performance test suites
- Manage defect life cycle and create reports for project stakeholders
- Assists with developing and performing the testing related to multiple upstream and downstream dependent systems in the Payroll, HR, and Finance space
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- 3 years of hands-on Experience with continuous automation testing using GitHub Actions, Agile methodologies, Rally & ADO tool
- Experience in testing Java, HTML and CSS
- Experience with ADO, HPE Load Runner, java scripting or similar tools
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodology
- Experience in Restful web-services automation testing
- Experience with Load Runner, Performance center administrative capability or similar tools
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Airline Industry experience, including business systems and technology
- Payroll domain knowledge a plus
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Demonstrated understanding of Quality Management, including testing techniques, methodologies, processes, tools, artifacts, and measurements
- Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Proficiency in eliciting and documenting requirements and performing quality assurance using SDLC best practices/standards
- Experience in automated test case suite maintenance, including creation of new tests, automated test scheduling, execution, and test logs analysis
- Experience with different programming languages (VB Script, Java, C#, or TFS)
- Build and implement performance testing for the full stack of application using tools such as Load Runner, Performance Center, Load Generators etc.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Tools
- Solid judgment and analytical skills; strong follow-up, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing environment
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to effectively manage change and customer expectations
